Sara Groem is a solution-oriented Real Estate Broker with an MBA based in Boulder, Colorado. Sara is a co-owner of Open Real Estate brokerage with her husband, Svein. Open Real Estate is a highly productive boutique real estate company with numerous incredibly talented real estate agents serving the entire Boulder and Denver Metro Area. Taking a progressive approach in the real estate industry including being environmentally conscious, she combines the savvy of investors with the needs of the public to bring a truly unique experience when buying and selling real estate.
Sara is committed to her clients to meet their specific needs including the pressing need to reduce costs and environmental impact. She is driven to be at the forefront of the real estate industry and is willing to put in the time and effort to do so. She is an expert in Boulder neighborhoods, the builders, the schools, and existing market conditions. Sara is passionate about helping people achieve their personal goals. As a working mom, she understands the importance of finding the right solution for your unique family situation.

- Why Ecent: I’ve been looking for a way to join the climate fight in a meaningful way and with this organization, I feel like I can leverage my passion for building community alongside my inner tree hugger that wants to reduce our impact on the Earth.
- Career: Cofounder of a Flagstaff based digital marketing agency that specializes in branding, website design, and digital marketing retainers.
- From: Born and raised in central Florida, spending the last couple decades in Flagstaff, he recently relocated to Phoenix, AZ where he lives with his wife, 12 year old daughter, and 2 year old border collie.
- Favorite family environmental practices:
- the kiddo wants a Prius like mine, not because of the reduced fuel usage, but because it feels like a spaceship.
- We hang up heavier clothes on our clothes line instead of using the dryer.
- We recycle, but also try not to buy things that we’ll throw away. NO SINGLE USE PLASTIC water bottles.
- We thrift for basic clothing needs. We practice meat-free Mondays.
Being a father to two daughters shapes my worldview. I strive to leave them a future resilient to the challenges of climate change, which is why I’m driven to contribute to its mitigation and adaptation efforts.
My professional experience as an entrepreneur, podcaster, and learning technology & publishing executive aligns with this purpose. I bring deep expertise in value proposition design, business model generation, content development, and workforce development. My insatiable appetite for creation and innovation, coupled with a passion for serving others, fuels my desire to make a positive impact.
